Change in eligibility criteria of MCA Programme (MCA_NEW) from January 2022 batch

The Eligibility criteria for MCA Programme (MCA_NEW) from January, 2022 cycle has changed as follows:
Passed BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/IT)/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or Equivalent with at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s degree (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
OR
Any Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 (three) years duration from a recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level or graduation level. In addition, these students are required to register and successfully complete two bridge courses, namely, MCS-201 (Programming in C and Python) & MCS-208 (Data Structures and Algorithm) of IGNOU along with Master of Computer Applicants (MCA) programme.
The Programme guide for the January 2022 admission cycle students is under finalisation and will be loaded in a weeks time.
The fee of Bridge course is as per the Course Registration and Certification Scheme of IGNOU and also specified at the admission portal.
Admission to MCA (Programme Code: MCA_NEW) for January 2022 admission cycle has started. As for the present last date 31st January, 22. Admission is through IGNOU admission portal at the link: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/
